Thoughts of summer easily conjures up images of local farmlands rich in bounty and having delicious ingredients fresh and accessible for our meals.  We are very fortunate that we have a great relationship here in Ottawa with our farmers and local producers.

Having lived in South Korea for five years, I believe that I am pretty opened minded when it comes to culinary delicacies that I have never tried before. Believe me, the things that I ate, saw and experienced during my childhood years of living abroad has given me a true appreciation and respect for other cultures.

The new Lansdowne Park is about to host its first festival and wouldn’t you know it – it’s a FOOD festival!!! I present to you The Ottawa Asian Festival Night Market! For us food lovers, that means a chance for us to try unique and interesting delicacies that we normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to try.

Imagine plush furniture, crystal chandeliers, men donned in their Film Noir detective garments and the women…Oh, how the women oozed every bit of their inner Femme Fatale that all us women possess. Those elements woven together with spectacular entertainment and seductive culinary temptations were all part of the Snowsuit Fund’s lavish Bash Noir event!
