NoodleFest 2016 Embodies Comfort Food!

By on January 16, 2016

Alas, winter is here. But for a food lover such as myself, that translates to only one thing: COMFORT FOOD!

Ottawa’s third annual NoodleFest hosted by Privé will be a comfort food extravaganza! Picture yourself eating variations of your favorite noodle dish prepared by chefs from all around the Ottawa region. We are talking Thai, Ramen and Pho that will no doubt send us into a noodle frenzy plus much, much more!

Privé, host of many culinary events held in the Nations’ Capital (613 Night Market Spring, Tac-O The Town, Sip n’ Slurp, Ottawa Underground Chef’s Market) is proud to showcase once again the craft and originality behind some of Ottawa’s chefs and their rendition of some tasty noodle dishes.

Just a small sampling of what to expect at this year’s NoodleFest.

(Back to Front) Seared Seafood Lobster boat (Miso Japanese); Batchoy, a Filipino twist on ramen noodle (Meryenda Snack Colossal); Tempura shrimp Bowl (Miso Japanese); Malaysian Laksa, a blast of coconut curry noodle with chicken, shrimp, fishball, tofu and sprouts (Asian Alley).

It must also be noted that there will be numerous vendors on site as well. All there, to share their tasty treats as we will be more than happy to indulge!
